Dr Luke Pinatello, Weight Loss Story

After completing my studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange Florida, I returned to my home town of Shrub Oak, New York to pursue my vision of opening a well rounded Health Center.  My objective has been to provide the surrounding community with alternative health care options, as well as preventative health care education, with emphasis on weight loss and weight management. Opening the doors to my own facility has been both exciting and nerve-racking at the same time. The turbulent economic times that we are all facing have created a challenge for our community as a whole.  This type of “all-in-one” health center is just what’s needed in order for us to receive the health care options that we deserve for prices that we can afford.  We are all in this struggle together.  Our health and financial status’ are being tested more now than ever before.    

I personally struggled with excess weight throughout my life and after all of my years of study, research and application, I can tell you first hand, “Now I get it!” In less than 3 months I lost 52 pounds, since that initial 3 months I have lost a total of 85 pounds and I feel great! My belief and confidence in the programs we offer at Live Proper Health Center has been reinforced, and I have since been able to empower patients to experience these same achievements. Since participating in our programs, many patients have stabilized their numbers and have come off of blood pressure and cholesterol medications at the request of their physicians. What a tremendous accomplishment!

With over 2 out of every 3 individuals in our society being clinically overweight and the number of metabolic disease diagnoses at an all-time high, it is natural that I would focus my practice on nutrition and weight loss/management. Along with increased weight comes increased body aches and pains, deconditioning, pro-inflammatory metabolic states, and many other health altering conditions.
